THAT'S WHAT YOU GET SO DON'T THROW A FIT. PARKER SOCCER SHOTS!

PARKER #3

Parker taking the ball down the field

Parker and teammates celebrating a goal!

Parker kicking the ball in, you can see the ball on the right side of picture.

Parker played against some big boys on Saturday. Two of the kids on the other team, we're almost 2 heads taller then everyone else. They dominated the whole game. But Parker always hussles, and he ran fast, as one big boy on the other team stole it and was taking it the goal. Parker cut him off, and got the ball, but was then plummeted by this kids huge body. It was quite a collision. I was videotaping, but missed that, and wish I had it, because Parker got thrashed. He was pretty tuff though, and only cried for a couple seconds, but got back in there.
Later, on videotape, Parker stole the ball in a crowd of players and took it all the way down the field, outrunning all of the boys, and barely missed the goal. It was very exciting, it hit the side of the goal. But the big boy, came up to him and said, "THATS WHAT YOU GET". And good ol Parker has the comeback of, "THATS WHAT YOU GET, SO DON'T THROW A FIT". Ha Ha!! Don't know what that means, but it was quite funny, when he told me.

Boys all fighting for the ball.

MARISSA ACADEMIC AWARD

Marissa got an academic award on Friday. She is doing so well in school. Three of her friends from other 3rd grade classes, also got an award. So the picture with all 4 girls are Marissa, Julia, (a boy giving out awards), Savannah, and Aurora.

Marissa and Julia

Marissa walking up to get her award. Other friends of her, are looking back at me, cuz they know I'm taking pictures. Its funny how they all stare. HEE HEE!
I don't know why, but they like to turn off the lights, and have cool background lights, during these assemblies, so the pictures don't turn out well!!

FUN AT VOSSLER FARMS PUMPKIN PATCH

We had fun at the Pumpkin Patch today! But it was hot! C'mon its October people. We are suppose to hit 90 the rest of the week. I hate it. We were all sweating as we search for pumpkins...that isn't right.

MARISSA SOCCER SATURDAY #6

Marissa kicking the ball down the field.
Marissa kicking it down the field, defending her goal.
She is passing it to her forward
Marissa dribbling around her defenders #6
Marissa playing forward, and got to do a penalty kick...it was an awesome kick, right to her other forward, who you can't see, and then she went to kick it in and the other forward barely missed it. But the kick you can see is perfect between the defenders. It was great!!!

Marissa had a pretty good game saturday. After I had a yell out match with her coach a couple days before, he actually let Marissa play forward. HA HA! Kidding, I had a talk with the coach...only nice. Jason though, thought I was telling him off, since I was 40 minutes late. He said he was getting a little worried, that I was starting a brawl. AHHHH, how sweet...he thinks I'm tough.

No, Marissa was thinking the coach didn't like her, since she was defender a lot. Well fortunately one of our players was gone on Saturday, so we had to play 6 against 7, and we still beat them. It was fun, because the other team was not too good, and everyone got a chance at forward. Marissa did great. She did get a lot more tired being a forward, so she might not like it as much as she thought. But this sport has been great exercise, Jason and I both commented on how slim her body has got this year. She is an awesome defender, and never lets a ball get past her, so we try to push defender, and how great she is. But Marissa wanted a chance to score, and she actually almost got a goal on Saturday, so that was really exciting for all. The goalie barely stopped it.

LOOK MOM, I'M A PRINCESS!!

Kallie loves putting on her sisters and brothers clothes. This morning, she put on Marissas nightgown, and said "Look mom I'm a princess, but this princess needs a crown". So I said go upstairs and get your crown. She came down, with her pj shorts on her head. I just laughed, and she danced and modeled for me.

"Pizza Gonna Find Me"

She cracks me up. The kids and I are always rockin out to the Mamma Mia CD when we drive around town, they ALL know all the songs, and LOVE THEM! This morning Kallie said, Mom I want the song, "pizza gonna find me". I could not figure out what song that was, but knowing that Super Trouper is one of her favorite, I put that on, and it is then I figured it out. The song says Super Trouper, Beams are gonna blind me, and Super Trouper, lights are gonna find me. So I can see saying, Beams are gonna find me, could sound like Pizza gonna find me. HA HA HA!

STORY TIME FOR BRODY

Kallie loves to act like she can read, and her favorite thing to do lately is read to her puppy Brody. (thru the window) So I took a picture of her yesterday. If Brody jumps up on the window while she is reading him a story, she tells him "Brody, no you sit back down and listen to this story!" Or she will say, "I'm not going to keep reading until you sit still." Its too cute!

SOCCER STUD!

I don't have a action soccer shot from Parkers game this weekend, but I had to post his story. Parker played absolutely awesome on Saturday. He had so much energy, people kept asking what we fed him. Parker has just been defending at most games, where if the ball comes his way, he just kicks it real hard, and doesn't dribble up the field. We told him, he needs to dribble when he gets the ball, and so he did, and he had a perfect game. Not only did he save 3 goals from the other team, he dribbled the ball from one end of the field to the other several times, and made an amazing side angle goal with many kids around him. He dribbled thru six players, he looked like a professional. Not only was Mom and Dad excited, our whole sideline was cheering, and Parker must of seen all the excitement, because right after he made the goal, he ran with is hand out by all the parents on the sideline, as he high fives all the observers. It was completely hilarious, even the opposing teams parents were laughing. He was EVERYWHERE on field, and probably the fastest kid on the field. If he could just focus all the time, and not talk to his friends while he plays telling them, his mom has snacks for them today, or when he is throwing the ball in, not stop and point at the plane flying overhead. That kid is the funniest kid in the world without even trying, he had all the parents laughing until tears were coming down there face. It was such a fun game, I don't think I've laughed so hard in a long time.

PICTURE DAY TODAY

We were practicing our smiles this morning, for picture day. Parker had a very silly smile last year. I told him to show his teeth, and not have a closed mouth smile, but that in turn had him smile REALLY big and he clinched his teeth together, which made a hilarious picture.

Marissa begged to wear curlers to bed last nite, so lets hope its not a puff ball by the time they take the pictures.

Kallie just rolled out of bed, but had to be in the picture too.

All and all this picture is cute, if all else fails!!

BRODY THRU THE WINDOW

Brody is getting so big. I try to get a picture of him outside, but he just gets too excited, so I took one thru our "dirty" back door. He is always jumping on the back door.

WE HAVE A NEW FAMILY MEMBER....BRODY

So much to my dismay.....we got a puppy. Jasons parents dog Pepper had another litter in July. We saw them when they first born, and they couldn't even open their eyes. Well, I got talked into one....so Grandma and Grandpa brought him to us on September 12th. He was only 8 weeks old. Here are some photos when he first got to our house. He now has already doubled in size. I have tried to get more photos, but that dog won't sit still. I still don't want a dog...but I did get to name him....BRODY...isn't that cute????

1st DAY OF SCHOOL August 14th

This is going backwards, but I thought I'd put a picture of the kids on the first day of school. Parker started 1st grade this year. He had Mrs. Ramirez as his teacher, but with overcrowding, he was placed in a 1st/2nd combo class with Mrs. Tucker. I think it was GREAT switch. Marissa started 3rd grade this year and her teacher is Mrs. Smith. Kallie is at home, with teacher MOMMY!

SOCCER

Parker and Marissa have been playing soccer. Parkers team is just funny to watch. A bunch of boys under 6. No idea what they are doing. Marissas team is pretty good. Although one of their best players fell during a game a couple weeks ago, and broke her wrist. But we are still keeping up. Although they did have their first loss today. These are stylin pictures in their uniforms. Marissas team is the Pumas and Parkers team is called Blue Lightning.

Parker lost his 2nd tooth!

I'm trying to start my blog after long waiting for high speed internet. We finally got clearwire today. YEAH! So this is our most recent pic. Parker has lost his 2nd tooth, and now his top 2 are loose. He has school pictures next week, and I was hoping he could have them all out for his pic, but they aren't loose enough yet.
