WE LOVE CHOCOLATE MILK!!!

Parker and Kallie LOVE Chocolate milk, and they have a huge fit, when they have to drink water. So I thought this shirt was perfect, that I got for Kallie the other day.

MARISSA'S SOCCER PLAYOFFS UPDATE

WHAT A WEEKEND. I'm exhausted and I just watched the games!!!!

MARISSA PLAYED AWESOME! WE HAD 3 GAMES THIS WEEKEND!

THE FIRST GAME WAS GOING GREAT, BEATING A REALLY GOOD TEAM. WE WERE WINNING 3-2, WITH TIME RUNNING OUT. THE OTHER TEAM GOT A SIDE THROW IN, STRAIGHT TO THERE GOAL, AND IT WAS KICKED IN OUR GOAL, AND AS IT WENT IN, THE REFREE BLOWED THE WHISTLE FOR GAME OVER. BUT IT COUNTED......SO IT ENDED AS A TIE, 3-3.

THE NEXT GAME WAS LATER THAT AFTERNOON, AND BOTH TEAMS WERE DRAGGING. 3:30PM WAS NOT A GOOD TIME TO PLAY. (and can I mention it was in the 80's, so it actually felt HOT out there...crazy) SO BY HALF TIME IT WAS 0-0. THEN WE BOTH SCORED, AND THEY SCORED AGAIN, MAKING IT 1-2. WE TRIED ABOUT A MILLION TIMES TO SCORE IN THE LAST QUARTER, BUT THEY HAD A GOALIE THAT JUST WOULDN'T QUIT (SHE ACTUALLY PLAYED GOALIE THE WHOLE GAME, CUZ SHE IS THAT GOOD). SO WE TOOK A BIG LOSS 1-2. MARISSA KNEW THAT WOULD PROBABLY BE THE END OF IT. SHE GOT REALLY UPSET!!

WE DID PLAY ONE MORE GAME, BUT WE DID SAVE THE BEST FOR LAST. WE DEMOLISHED THIS TEAM 7-0. WITH MARISSA SCORING 2 AWESOME GOALS. I HAVE BOTH OF THEM ON VIDEO, AND HAVE BEEN TRYING MY HARDEST TO PUT THE ACTUAL VIDEO ON THE BLOG, BUT MY CAMERA IS OLDER, AND I DON'T THINK IT CAN TRANSFER.
WE COULDN'T SCORE AFTER 7, BECAUSE THEY WOULD START DEDUCTING POINTS AFTER 7, CUZ ITS POOR SPORTSMANSHIP, SO FOR THE WHOLE 4TH QUARTER, OUR GIRLS JUST DEFENDED, TO SHUT THEM OUT.

SO LONG STORY SHORT, WE ENDED ON A REALLY HIGH NOTE, AND YES IT ENDED. OUT OF 26 TEAMS, ONLY 6 PLAY NEXT WEEKEND IN THE CHAMPIONSHIP PLAYOFFS...THE LOSS REALLY KILLED US. SO MARISSA HEARD THE NEWS TODAY THAT WE ARE NOT GOING TO THE NEXT PLAYOFFS, AND SHE IS PRETTY UPSET, ESPECIALLY SINCE HER TEAM SHE WAS ON LAST YEAR, WITH ALL HER SCHOOL FRIENDS ARE GOING; IN THE LAST SPOT OF THE TEAMS.

I TOLD MARISSA THAT I THINK WE HAVE FOUND HER SPORT. ALL THE TEAM PARENTS WERE RAVING ABOUT HOW AWESOME MARISSA DID THIS WEEKEND, AND JASON AND I COMPLETELY AGREE. SHE LOOKED SO GOOD OUT THERE, IT WAS SO EXCITING, I WISH ALL OF YOU COULD OF SHARED THE JOY WITH US.

Marissa made a goal today!
Marissa made a goal today!!!!! Being in the Under 10 division its almost impossible to make a goal, with goalies, and so many good girls, but marissa finally took the chance, and got it. It was funny because she didn't kick it hard AT ALL, so it was rolling in slow motion, as the goalie and another girl fell on the ground to catch, and it went on by!!! YEAH! It was her first goal of the season, and it was the last game of the season. She starts playoffs next week, 2 games on Saturday and 1 game on Sunday. I'm excited! All the girls have improved, and make such a great team! More playoff info to come.......

MARISSA'S TEAM SWEATSHIRT

Marissas Coach bought sweatshirts for all the girls on the soccer team. They haven't been able to wear them, because its been so hot, but finally they had a 8am game last week, so it was actually cool enough. I thought that was so nice of the coach, and the sweatshirts look pretty nice! They are the purple and black PUMAS!!!

We have the kids last season games tomorrow. Then Marissa starts playoffs next weekend! I'm kinda glad its coming to an end....so busy!!!
