BASEBALL, BASKETBALL, BIRTHDAY

Marissa's 9th Birthday! We had a busy saturday with Parkers baseball, Marissas basketball tournament, all on the Marissas's Birthday!
Marissa invited just 3 friends, so we could go to her favorite restaurant OLIVE GARDEN. I just took the girls, and it was quite hilarious. 2 of the girls had never been there, so when asked if they wanted soup or salad, one girl answered, "Soup, I'll take Chicken Noodle". One girl wanted Salad with ranch, another girl wanted Orange soda. It was quite funny to be at a nice restaurant with 9 year old girls. They also wondered why there were 2 forks, and the majority of them ordered Macaroni and Cheese. They had fun though, and ate it up!

We gave Marissa Wii Sing it, and it was a hit. Here they are all singing and dancing to some Hannah Montana song! It was great, they were not shy to perform for me!!!

BASKETBALL CHAMPIONS!! 1ST PLACE TEAM!

Marissa had her basketball tournament on saturday, and it was a litte INTENSE! Let me set the stage.....first game 10am, 4 players have arrived...one missing, one can't play cuz a broken wrist.
Start the game anyways, this first team, which isn't good, is killing us 12-4. Our 5th player shows up in the end of the 3rd quarter. Amazingly we come back to win 18-15. I screamed my head off!!!

ON TO THE CHAMPIONSHIP GAME!!! We play the #2 ranked team, who just finished demolishing the first team they played. Plus their girls are 2 heads taller then us, and they have improved greatly thru the season. The game stayed even the whole game, and got sooo intense, with us pulling out a WIN 15-14. The girls getting a pep talk before the Championship game.

Parker's 1st Baseball Game

While I watched Marissa's basketball; Parker had his first baseball game and did really well! Jason said he hit great, and played 2nd base. He caught a lot of balls, and even threw a boy out, by throwing the ball from 2nd to 1st on his knees. He is doing a great job. GO ANGELS!

ENTHUSIASM

Parker received an award at school last week for the Monthly word "Enthusiasm". If anyone knows Parker they all know about his Crazy Enthusiasm.

His Teacher Mrs. Tucker is on the right, and Parker is shaking the Student Councils hands.

As you can see....it was Pajama Day at school. The man up front is the new principal in his nice Pjs. Parker was excited to wear his Spongebob Pjs to school.

Yes, Parker looks sooo short, but he got awards with 2nd graders, because he is in a 1st/2nd Combo class!!
