PINEWOOD DERBY MANIA!

Saturday Parker participated in the District Pinewood Derby and won 1st in his wolf division and 1st OVERALL with a record breaking time!

He received two 1st place trophies and 2 certificates. Jason and Parker called the car "Black Mamba" (I think..something like that..ha ha)! Parker also has his name in the paper today twice on the front page. Check out visaliatimesdelta.com

He also had his 1st Pinewood Derby a couple months ago in our old ward, but I didn't post pictures. He got 3rd in this race. But this race wasn't as exciting, without the electronic equipment. Having 80 year old men at the finish line doesn't keep things very accurate.

FORTUNATELY though are new ward has their pinewood derby coming up in May! I don't think Parker and Jason could be any happier!

2 Girls 2 Teeth

Kallie has been working on this tooth for weeks but was to scared it would hurt to get it out, but with the help of daddy and since marissa lost hers, she went for it. This is her 2nd lost tooth!

NOW WHAT???

We are on our 7th straight week of sickness around here. Thought we were finally getting better, but Kallie woke with this rash all over her face and body!

Please tell me it's not contagious or anything severe...what is all this stuff??? Get out the credit card...so I can go give all my money to the doctor who charges an arm and a leg, when he sees us for 2 minutes, while we are there for 3 hours! UGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!

THE HEALING CONTINUES...

Smiling was back yesterday afternoon.

By last nite his eye is almost open all the way!

Looks pretty dang good, and let's hope it doesn't come back!

$400+ later, plus I still have to be billed for the shots, he is looking back to normal! Love them high deductibles! So happy he is looking human again! :)

JAKE'S EYE INFECTION...

Jake started his cold looking like this...looking miserable.

Later in the day, his eyes and checks were red with fever.

He started to look worse and worse..of course on a saturday.

His right eye starts to get a little swollen, not too concerned yet.

Sunday his eye is more swollen and red all around.

By Monday morning..he woke like this.

It's Tuesday, he got a shot yesterday, and this is how he looked this morning...atleast you can see his eye.

He got a 2nd shot this morning, and this is him now. Little improvement, but its still not good enough for me. Back to the doctor tomorrow! Just go away!!! :(

KALLIE'S 5TH BIRTHDAY!!!

December 26th is my little Kallie's Birthday, so this year, she was able to spend it with the WHOLE Park Family in Colorado. We went to Chuck E Cheese on Christmas Eve...we had the place to ourselves!!! :)

She is our natural athlete and is determined to do anything and everything.
