JAKE GETTING STRONGER!!

Jake is getting stronger and able to sit for a little longer each time.

This week he has been doing well with support on his back.

Finally got him to look up, and sit like a big boy, right before he fell over. :)

DIRTY BOY

How can a boy get so dirty at school??

Supposedly he was playing basketball with his class, for "FUN FRIDAY", i still don't understand how he got so dirty. the picture doesn't even show how dirty his face and hands were!! the teacher just laughed at his dirtyness, and let me know how good he was at basketball, he must of been everywhere, including on the ground!!

BIRTHDAY GIRL IS THE BASKETBALL CHAMPION!!

It's Marissa's 10th birthday today. Can't believe she is that old. Yesterday her basketball team won the championship. They were undefeated the whole season!!

My little Athletes. We had 5 games yesterday, and all the kids did fantastic! Kallie had 3 goals in her first soccer game, Parker was the pitcher and had lots of outs, in his baseball game. Marissa made 7 points yesterday, and won the championship!!

HAPPY 10TH BIRTHDAY MARISSA!!!!

JAKE IS 5 MONTHS

Jake is 5 months today! Time flies, when you get no sleep. I don't know what day it is anymore.

Jake is a great baby, just doesn't sleep at nite ANYMORE!!! :(
He is in 6-9 month clothes, but mostly wears 9 month clothes.
He is 20 pounds, and about 26 inches tall.
He loves his jumper toy, (pictured in above.) He loves going outside and watching the older kids practice their soccer and basketball.
He likes to talk REALLY loud, more like scream. So i spend a lot of time in the hallway at church.
He still rolls all the time from back to tummy, but can't figure out how to roll back over.
He still spits up like crazy....will it ever end??
He is a real trooper...he goes to all the kids practices, and does really well...napping here and there. Poor Kid!!!
He still is a mommy's-boy.
He loves his bath everynite. He kicks and kicks and drenches me.
He wants to move all the time, so holding him is a workout in itself. He so wants to learn to crawl, he loves looking at EVERYTHING!!!
Still think he is getting teeth, but nothing yet.
He drools and drools, and wants something in his mouth to chew on CONSTANTLY!!!
He still doesn't like to eat rice cereal from a spoon so i slip some in his bottle at bedtime.
Jake is a great cute kid, lets just hope he can sleep SOOOOONNNNN!!!!!

Jake turned 4 months on the 12th. He got his shots today, so i was trying to get a good picture of him for this day, but he was all into making funny faces.

JAKE'S 4 MONTH STATS:

Jake is 18 pounds and 25.5 inches long!! (aka SUMO-BABY)

Jake tried rice cereal for the 1st time on his 4 month birthday. he didn't really like it much.

Jake was sleeping so well at nite, until 2 weeks ago. now he is getting up twice. UGH!

Jake sleeps exactly 30 minutes each nap...i don't know why. so he is still taking 4 of those a day.

Jake is really starting to be a mommy's boy. if anyone else has him he either cries, or watches mom like a hawk.

Jake can now hold his pacifier in his mouth.

Jake goes down for bed/naps wide awake, and without being rocked to sleep.

(but with this....he doesn't sleep thru the nite anymore....don't get it)

Jake loves to hold on to a blanket all the time and loves to play with soft baby books.

Jake is still a big drooler, but no teeth yet.

Jake has been in size 3 diapers since he turned 3 months...i hope he doesn't grow out of diapers before he is potty trained. :)

Jake can turn over from his belly to his back, and for the 1st time last nite, he turned from his back to his belly!! he was so excited!!!

Jake is getting bigger and stronger and more fun everyday!!
